The first night we got here Kristin noticed a can of Raid in the closet and remarked, "That can't be good." Well, I found the purpose of the can last night. I was reading after the baby went to bed I saw something scurrying across the floor. La cucaracha! Haven't seen one of those since the Brooklyn days. I dealt with him the old fashioned way, no toxic Raid for me. Armed with just my wits, courage and one of my shoes, daddy took care of business.

That reminds me of when I first moved to NYC for grad school. My family dropped me off at the dorm at Pratt in Brooklyn. I was sitting alone in my room, not knowing one single person in NY, wondering why in the world I decided to move there when I felt something tickling the hair on my legs. Looking down I saw a roach climbing up my leg. It was okay though, he was part of the welcoming committee. He brought a fruit basket. See, some New Yorkers are friendly! I'm really tired...
We go back to the orphanage today for a follow up visit and I think we also get a tour. After, Alexander gets a trip to the vaccination center for his six month shots.

Happy birthday, bro! Check your email :)
What a beautiful son you have...what a beautiful family you make...God knew exactly what he was doing, the perfect match. How exciting it is going through this very personal journey with the three of you, the emotion, the laughter, and the tears of joy as we read on and on. It will be the very last thing I do every night before I retire. What a very lucky guy Alexander (Dave) ha, ha, is and I'm sure as he gets older, will realize. Enjoy this little one, because they grow oh so very fast...We love you...will try to get this to go thru...last night's didn't...I know nothing about computers... P.S. Happy Birthday, daddy!!!

Learned along time ago at work a Gentlemen came into work dressed in full Military garb and a what looked like a gas mask. his task was to rid Our Lunch Room of of those Billion year old insects. He told us the worse thing you can do is the "OLD FASHION WAY" because all's you do is spread their family eggs around(the non-edible kind). So my sugestion to you Danny is go out and buy a Guerilla uniform and attack.
