Compositional studies
Today we have a 2:00 appointment with ICBF, Instituto Colombiano de Bienestar Familiar, the government agency that oversees adoptions in Colombia, to check in with the social worker to make sure that everything is going well and then it is off to the clinic for his shots.
We went for a walk yesterday afternoon but got caught in a rainstorm so I wasn't able to get any shots of the neighborhood. Maybe tomorrow...

This is Grandpa Dave and just what am I looking at. The first one I think is a collection of yearn samples,the second one is glass eyeballs for sell, and the third one is your shower curtain. And you thought I didn't have talent.
I call this my "Getting Stir Crazy In The Hotel" series. I do think they are interesting pictures though. I know, everyone is here to see the baby, not his bath toys sitting on the back of the toilet...That picture was a study investigating the relationship betweem circles and squares. Not kidding, that's what I was thinking about.
1. Toys on the back of the toilet.
2. Teething ring and water bottle on the bathroom sink.
3. Bedroom curtain. I liked the delicate play between the light and shadow and the cast shadows from the iron gate. Made me think of a Rothko painting. Again, not kidding.
We know you aren't kidding Danny and that is what we LOVE about you!!!!
FYI - I totally get it. :) I see your drawings in those photographs! (Eric says don't quit your day job) haha
Where are the pictures of when Dan and Kris didn't let back into the country? Oh wait that hasn't happened yet.
Ava is pretty excited to finally have some she can boss around.
